This full-day workshop is an introduction to non-ordinary states of consciousness and an immersive experience engaging in the time-honored traditions of accelerated breathing, evocative music, somatic awareness, and expressive art, as a method for reorienting to the self as a source of healing and insight, while also cultivating navigational skills for your personal journey and deepening presence in support of others.

Holotropic Breathwork was developed by Stan Grof, a pioneering psychedelic researcher, and his late wife, Christina Grof, as a powerful approach to self-exploration that centers one’s intrinsic intelligence and innate healing orientation.

The fundamental urge to grow, heal, and be transformed in a truly authentic way drives us not outward, but inward toward the depths of our own being, toward a mystery within. This inward journey strengthens and nourishes our inner senses and knowing, offering us unmediated access to deep resources with therapeutic and evolutionary potential.  With skillful support and integration, these unique states can revitalize our daily lives with creative and emergent energy, and feelings of more authentic connection with others.  

This event is open to new and experienced breathers/adventurers alike.  You may email for more specific information or register at the link below.  Please note that this workshop is not appropriate for pregnant women, or for persons with cardiovascular problems, severe hypertension, some diagnosed psychiatric conditions, epilepsy, detached retina or active spiritual emergency. 

Holotropic Breathwork is done in dyads, so you will participate in one session as a ‘breather’ and one session as a ‘sitter’ for your partner. Please plan to stay for the whole workshop. We will have a light community meal toward the end of our day together.  Hope you can join us!
